How is telehealth different from traditional therapy?
Telehealth appointments occur remotely, you become responsible for securing a location that facilitates the sense of safety and privacy traditionally established in the therapy office. Just like a face to face appointment, your telehealth session is private and confidential. Research indicates that effectiveness of telehealth is on par with face to face therapy. You still experience the consistency of regular appointments with a therapist committed to serving your mental health needs.
