Finding Yourself

Finding your tribe can be a lifelong challenge. The seeds are sown in our youth and in the families we are born into or build over time. Building connection, organizing our thoughts in ways that work for us, and sharing our stories are learned strengths.

Many people feel deeply isolated while struggling, whether it is their own experience or a loved one’s. Overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, and hopelessness can begin to take over daily life, and it becomes harder to see a way forward.

When we experience loneliness or isolationism, it can feel like there is no one who is safe to talk to. Being judged, misunderstood, or seen as a burden compounds that loneliness, and everything becomes pressurized and too heavy to carry alone.

Without support or a safe space to land, living disconnected can become a way of life, and that disconnection can spiral us away from a life that feels worth living.

Walking Through the Maze

I have been on that path, spiraling out of my purpose, like being in a maze where I could not find my way out. I found my way back to clarity and to a life that felt worth living, and I want to help you do that too.

Taking the first step can feel uncomfortable and downright scary. I want to walk beside you as a guide while you explore. Together we can refocus, research, reframe, or reconsider your “why” and your definition of the life you believe is worth living.

I want to help you redesign a life that serves you well, one that restores your path out of the spiral and into steadiness and direction.

How I Work

With me, you have someone who listens without judgment. I am not here to rush you or immediately fix what feels broken. I am here to understand, to sit with you in the hard places, and to help you build insight and skills that move you forward.

I integrate:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Solution Focused Therapy

  • Play Therapy

We work with acceptance, mindfulness, and coping skills that can be practiced in real life. You create your story. Wherever you are starting from, I will walk through it with you so you can move toward where you want to go.

What Therapy Can Offer

Therapy can be powerful and transformative when you are navigating emotional difficulty or uncertainty. One of the most important things I offer is connection to a trusted person who is genuinely invested in your well being.

Connection creates safety, and safety makes growth possible. Most importantly, therapy nurtures hope. Even when you cannot feel it yet, I hold onto the belief that change is possible. That belief, shared consistently in a safe space, becomes part of the work itself.

At the end of a session, I want you to know you have an ally in the world. That there are good tomorrows ahead. That you have choices and direction. Whether you are looking for practical skills, steady support, or someone to walk beside you into a new beginning, we build that together.

And we celebrate even the small things along the way.

Who I am outside the office

When I am not practicing therapy, I am usually reading, having adventures with my tribe, enjoying time in nature, crafting, cooking, or gardening.

When I'm outside the office, I've been known to take myself to the river…. to dream and to just be, because I do believe in self-care as part of daily practice, as well as a piece of therapy practice!

Connection and creativity matter deeply to me, and I bring that same energy into the work I do. If this resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out.
