Hey there! (Yes, I'm starting with "hey" because formal introductions make me awkward.) Do you ever feel like you're constantly running on empty, giving everything to everyone else while barely keeping yourself together? Behind that carefully managed exterior – you know, the one where you've got your "I'm totally fine" smile down to an art form – there's exhaustion. The weight of always being "on," always being perfect, always being what everyone else needs. That voice telling you you're not enough? Well, I have some choice words for that voice, because it's lying through its metaphorical teeth.
I get it, really.
My journey through an eating disorder (complete with a side of perfectionism that would make Martha Stewart look casual) taught me something powerful: there's a way through this mess. Not just to survive, but to rediscover your spark – even if right now that spark feels more like a half-dead battery. Whether you're drowning in people-pleasing (hello, fellow recovering approval-seekers!), lost in the maze of perfectionism, or simply wondering who you are beyond your to-do lists, you don't have to figure this out alone.
Look, I'll be honest – I'm probably not your typical therapist. I might occasionally use Disney movie references to explain emotional processing (because who hasn't learned about feelings from Inside Out?), and I firmly believe that sometimes the best therapy happens through art, movement, or music when words are just... not cutting it. My goal? To help you build something real – a life where you can finally put down that heavy backpack of expectations and walk with lighter steps, maybe even with a skip in them eventually.

Philosophy & Methodology
My therapeutic approach rests on the foundation of transformative growth through:
Self-Discovery – Think of it as becoming your own personal detective, but instead of solving crimes, we're uncovering the absolutely fascinating story of you. Through gentle guidance and genuine curiosity (and maybe some nerdy psychology insights), we'll illuminate the path toward understanding your authentic self.
Empowerment – My role is to help you recognize and harness your innate wisdom and strength. Sometimes this means cheerleading, sometimes this means challenging old beliefs, and sometimes this means sitting with you in the hard stuff. We've got options!
Integration – True healing happens when we bridge the gap between insight and daily living. We'll develop personalized tools and practices that actually work for YOUR life (not some Instagram-perfect version of it).
Take the First Step
If you're ready to start writing a different story – one where you finally feel at home in your own life (messy parts and all) – I'm here to help. Let's work together to transform those overwhelming challenges into stepping stones toward the life you actually want to live. No perfection required, I promise. Just bring yourself, maybe a sense of humor, and we'll figure out the rest together.
