What problem do you strive to overcome?
I noticed that mental health perspectives were often overlooked while working in healthcare. Trauma-informed, person-centered care was not always a priority. This resulted in individuals needing a comprehensive support system that recognized their personal experiences, culture, strengths, and needs.
I have cultivated a client-centered approach to address this issue, prioritizing a whole-person perspective in care. Drawing upon my experiences, I have developed a profound appreciation for the crucial role mental health plays in overall well-being. I advocate for a holistic treatment approach that integrates trauma-informed practices, creating a safe and collaborative space for individuals to explore and address their unique challenges.
Client Centric Approach
My approach results in a solid therapeutic alliance and a safe environment where clients can openly navigate their mental health journey. I have not only supported individuals and families directly but have also trained other professionals on the application of trauma-informed, person-centered care. I assist clients in compassionately addressing their issues by integrating therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting, and others tailored to individual needs. Together, we create a personalized plan aligned with their beliefs, goals, and values, supporting them in every step of their journey toward improved wellness. My passion lies in fostering a holistic and empowering atmosphere that enables clients to achieve the goals necessary for their mental well-being.
